DEARBORN HEIGHTS —Throwing your computer out the window isn’t what usually comes to mind when you think about your wedding day. But Monica Hunsaker has a reason: She reported she was duped out of $1,500 on one of the most important days of her life.

Hunsaker, an Arkansas native, was married in Lansing in November 2009. She contracted Artistic Wedding Photos that January to shoot the ceremony and produce albums, DVDs and individual prints to capture the big day. A middle-aged couple with Dearborn ties owned and ran the company, which was “committed to fulfill [its] obligations…and share this special moment,” according to a deposit agreement letter received by the Press & Guide…

..The thousands of dollars the Wallings allegedly stole, coupled with the frustration of being unable to find them, has driven some newlyweds to take legal action. Liblang & Associates, a civil litigation firm based in Birmingham, is filing lawsuits on behalf of nine local couples, according to Laurie Starr, a paralegal with the firm….
